The President of the United Republic of Tanzania, H.E. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, has invited investors from around the world to explore Tanzania’s vast investment opportunities, rich cultural heritage, and world-renowned tourist attractions.

Speaking during the opening of the Africa50 General Shareholders Meeting and the Africa Infrastructure Forum held on 5th August 2026 at the Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre (JNICC) in Dar es Salaam, President Samia reaffirmed Tanzania’s position as one of Africa’s leading investment destinations. She highlighted the country’s political stability, abundant natural resources, business-friendly environment, and diverse investment opportunities across key economic sectors.

The President also reiterated the Government’s commitment to strengthening the investment climate through policy reforms and strategic initiatives aimed at attracting greater domestic and foreign investment, accelerating economic growth, and creating employment opportunities.

Mr. Gaudence Mmassy, Head of Planning ,Reseach and Innovation at Tanzania Investment and Speacial Economic Zone Authorit (TISEZA) presented the wide range of investment opportunities available in Tanzania, as well as the investor facilitation services offered by TISEZA. He highlighted the services provided through the One Stop Facilitation Centre, investment opportunities within the Special Economic Zones (SEZs), and the attractive investment incentives that continue to position Tanzania as a leading investment hub in Africa.

The forum brought together more than 1,200 participants, including Heads of State and Government, investors, international financial institutions, development partners, and business leaders, to discuss practical strategies for accelerating infrastructure investment and promoting sustainable development across Africa.
