The launch of the implementation tools for the National Development Vision 2050, alongside a special dialogue meeting with the private sector, has demonstrated the Government's commitment to strengthening collaboration with the private sector in building a competitive and sustainable economy.

Speaking at the meeting held at State House in Dar es Salaam on August 3, 2026, Her Excellency Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania, stated that Tanzania would continue to serve as a hub for trade and investment in the region. Furthermore, she emphasized that peace and stability are fundamental to safeguarding investments and jobs, as well as fostering national economic growth.

President Dr. Samia also noted that legal reforms would enhance Tanzanian participation in the implementation of development projects by prioritizing locals and encouraging partnerships with both domestic and foreign investors to achieve the goals of the National Development Vision 2050.
